Illtrip are a tight four piece
genre-blending rock act from central Iowa. Backed by Crazy
Cuban of Straight Vodka entertainment, Illtrip provide the
listener a unique hybrid of sound blurring the boundaries of
metal, hardcore, hip hop, and rap. The band have shared the
stage with several national acts including Papa Roach,
Chevelle, Dry Kill Logic, Trust Company, Hed(pe),
Five.Bolt.Main, Vision of Disorder, Candiria, and others.
The band completed its work on their four song self titled
disc, produced by Matt Sepanic (Slipknot, Marilyn Manson,)
in March 2005. Since then, they have performed as far away
as Denver, Colorado where they placed second in the city's
Battle of the Band Competition. Each year they provide
management representation at the internationally acclaimed
South by Southwest Music Conference in Austin, Texas. Most
recently, their music was featured at the Austin Metal Music
showcase.
Illtrip take pride in professional musicianship, energetic
shows, and strong self promotion. Their growing fanbase is
testament to their talent and ambition.
